Vegeta is one of the starting main antagonists of the game that converts to being a Z fighter by the mid-part of the series. Sees Goku as a Rival and possesses a huge amount of pride due to his Saiyan Royalty bloodline.

A North Kai of universe 10 who was unswayed from his belief that mortals are naturally evil. He loses to Goku which causes him to descend into madness and eventually wish upon the Super Dragon Balls to swap bodies with Goku.
Due to several cirmcumstances, he was able to survive a supposed to be annihilation from Beerus and travels to the future and goes on a mission to eliminate all mortals from all universes.

Episode Battles, despite the name, is the main story line for your chosen character in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. This will allow you to view Dragon Ball's storyline from that character's perspective.
Episode Battles Contain Sparking Zero Exclusive Story Routes
Aside from viewing the original story of Dragon Ball, Sparking Zero also have alternative routes that can be unlocked by achieving unique battle feats or altering the original story via dialogue options. This can allow you to view an alternate story or “what if” storylines in the original series.

How to Unlock Routes
Complete Stages on your Episode Battles
The easiest way to unlock routes is to play the Episode Battles naturally. Completing each stage will naturally progress the Episode Battle to the next stage that can allow you to reach branching points in the story.
Choose Differing Dialogues
In certain parts of the game, you may be presented with dialogue options. These dialogue options are not mere flavor texts and can actually change the game's storyline
Complete Alternative Routes
There are stages during Episode Battles where certain fights may have Alternative ways of victory. Completing these alternative options which are more difficult to do than the stage's main condition will allow you to unlock Sparking Zero-exclusive story that greatly differs from the original series!
